You have the right to request deletion of the personal information Jia Li holds about you. This page explains exactly how to make that request, what we delete, and what we may need to keep for legal reasons.
How to request deletion
Choose whichever is easiest for you:
Send your request to jialitrade.co@gmail.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
Message us on +86 177 0172 5716 with the word DELETE, followed by the email address or phone number associated with your enquiries.
What to include in your request
- Your full name
- The email address and/or WhatsApp number you used with us
- Any project or quotation reference numbers, if you remember them
- A short confirmation that you want your data deleted
Verifying it is really you. Before we delete anything, we will confirm your identity by replying to the email address or WhatsApp number already on file for you, and asking you to confirm the request from that same address or number. Where we hold no record matching the details you give us, we will tell you so rather than act on the request. We do not ask for identity documents, and you should not send any.
What gets deleted
- Your contact details — name, email, WhatsApp number, company
- Project records, quotations and order history
- Messages and correspondence held on our side
- Documents you uploaded or sent us — receipts, product photographs, specifications
- Marketing and newsletter preferences
What we may need to keep
- Tax and invoice records, for the period required by Chinese and Nigerian tax law
- Anti-fraud and anti-money-laundering records, where applicable
- Records relevant to an ongoing or threatened legal proceeding
Anything we retain is kept in restricted archives and is never used for marketing or further communication.
Timeline
We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a final confirmation once the deletion is complete.
Third-party services
We use third-party tools to run our business — email delivery, messaging platforms and website hosting. Where your data is present in those systems as part of your request, we will initiate deletion with them as well. Some residual copies may persist in their backups for a short period, according to their own retention policies.
