The fee depends on how complex the product is to verify. One fee covers up to five products per case.

This is a professional fee for research we carry out. It is not a deposit and it is not credited against a later purchase. If you go on to order, our Procurement fee is quoted separately.
Sourcing is done from our desks and by phone. If you want someone standing inside the factory, that is Quality Control, priced separately.

Is the sourcing fee refunded if I order?
No. The fee pays for research we have already done, and the report stays yours either way. If you order, Procurement is quoted separately at 10% of product value.
What if the free review says my idea will not work?
Then you have saved the fee and a great deal more. That is what the first stage is for. We will tell you plainly rather than take money for a search that cannot succeed.
What if the factory minimum is higher than I want to buy?
We tell you in the free review, before anything is paid. Most categories have a real minimum. You either adjust the quantity, split across designs, or we tell you China is not the right route yet.
Do I keep the supplier details?
Yes. The report, the comparisons and the verified prices are yours. You are free to buy direct, though most people have us do it so the checks continue.
Can you visit the factory you find?
Yes, as a separate service. Quality Control covers a remote check or a physical visit, priced on its own page.
What counts as five products?
Five distinct items. Five colours of the same bag is one product. A bag, a shoe, a belt, a watch and a purse is five. Beyond that, it is a second case.
